Deacon and I got back from Virginia a few days before school started. It is good to be back home, but we miss Scott. He will be there until November. We have stayed busy though and enjoyed the last few weeks of summer. Here are the highlights:
Deacon had a ball at the ward party:
He loved getting his face painted as a pirate and had the "Aargh" down pat. He was not happy when we had to wash it off before bed:
He loved jumping in the little bouncy house:
We enjoyed spending the weekend with my family at the cabin in Fairview.

We were so sad that we missed Preston and Lindsay's wedding while we were away, but Deacon was thrilled when they gave him new tie from the wedding:

We spent some time at the Spanish Fork Resevoir. It isn't Virginia Beach, but Deacon still had fun!
Deacon was happy to see Grandpa and Grandma. He loves hanging out at their house:
