Deacon at Five Months!

Deacon is getting so big! He got his first tooth on Sunday- well at least that's when I first noticed it. He has been drooling like a faucet for months now and everything seems to go in his mouth. (We recently had a close call with a Preying Mantis, but I caught it just in time.) He was chewing on paper during Relief Society (Hey, it keeps him quiet) and when I reached in to get any soggy remains I discovered his little tooth. He is such a good baby and hardly ever gets fussy, I probably would not have known otherwise. He is still bald, but Scott claims he has a little more hair than last month. He weighs just over 15 lbs. He laughs all the time now and has such a cute little personality.

Family Picnic

We went up Payson Canyon for a family cookout this last weekend. The leaves were gorgeous! This is my favorite time of year. It's starting to cool down a little, but not too much, the leaves are changing color, and things just seem to slow down a bit. It was fun to spend time with my family eating, laughing, and enjoying the beautiful weather.

A Cougar or an Aggie?

We went to the Lehi High School Mascot Bowl Monday night and got Deacon's picture with Big Blue and Cosmo. Deacon looks like he is trying to get away from Big Blue. Personally, I love my Aggies even though they suck at football, but just wait until basketball season! Besides, Big Blue looks way cooler than Cosmo! We had a fun time at this charity event. They had mascots from all over the country and some minor celebraties playing football against the JV team.

Dawn's Wedding

One of my best friends from High School was married on the 20th of September in the Salt Lake temple. We are so happy for Dawn and her husband Jonathon. We enjoyed spending the weekend with them and other friends.
