Summer Fun

Our summer is off to a fun start! Katie and Nixxin are staying with us and we are having a great time! Deacon loves to torture Nixxin, but they keep each other laughing. We have had fun at the splash pad, park, and reservoir.

This is Nixxin completely soaked at the splash pad. Deacon will barely get his feet wet and then he's done:

We enjoyed going to one of Deacon's older cousin's birthday parties. Jessie turned 11!

We always have fun at Grandma and Grandpa Hurst's house. I had to throw this one in of Shawn and Jake on the swing together, because Shawn would hate it :)

Cousins at the Carnival

Deacon had a blast at the Art City Carnival this year with his cousins. Anna, Katie, Chante, and Cari all brought their kids and we had a fabulous time. Deacon is so lucky to have lots of cousins around his age to play with and I'm lucky to have so many great sisters-in-law. We were there at the perfect time. There weren't many people and we never had to wait in lines.

Right before we left Deacon went on the Ferris Wheel with Aunt Cari and Jocelyn and he declared that THIS was his favorite ride. Cari said he was a little nervous at the top and kept saying, "Oh No, this is very dangerous". He makes us laugh!:

Jess HS Graduation

Scott's youngest sister Jessica graduated from High School this year. We are so proud of the beautiful and talented young woman she has become.

Year One Preschool Graduation

Deacon made it through his first year of preschool! He loved it and learned so much! This is him all dressed up for his graduation program:
