Christmas came early for us this year as Scott returned home from Afghanistan a month earlier than we had anticipated! It is so wonderful to have him home! Deacon thought we were going to Salt Lake to pick up an early Christmas present from Santa. He was pretty excited and surprised to see that it was Dad! My good friend Adrienne told Deacon to give his Dad a karate chop for her when his dad come home and as you can see from the video below he didn't forget!

I love these pictures! I have not been able to get through the video once without crying and I have watched it over and over... I am so happy I got to be a part of the home coming, I will never forget the experience... To hear everyone clapping even strangers to seeing your families faces as you were reunited... There are no words. I have never been more proud of Scott and your little family for all of your many many sacrifices. Love you!
