Spring Fever

We had a very wet spring this year, but all the rain (and snow) made great puddles that were perfect for jumping in! Deacon is a pro. He has an eagle eye for puddles and finds them at just the "right" time- like as we are walking into church. Our back porch was a great place for Deacon to jump and splash to his heart's content!

On one of the less wet spring days we went to the zoo. Deacon loved seeing the monkeys, tigers, and snakes, but was very disappointed they didn't have any bears. He was really hoping to cut off one of their arms with his light saber. I told him they must have heard he was coming and ran away.

Deacon of course insisted we take a ride on the train. It almost made up for the lack of bears!

Spring is a great time for horseback rides with Dad. He loves riding with Scott on his horse Design, but insists that his name is Bull-Sign (a cross between Design and Bullseye from Toy Story).

We had fun at the Wild West Show and Deacon enjoyed his red balloon and riding the ponies with his cousins Carly and Adrian:
